My love for photography began just after my children started school. The idea of paying so much for one picture, that I knew would just be thrown in a drawer, didn't appeal to me. The school pictures my children came home with were quite comical! I thought, could they look more miserable? Maybe next time, they can at least brush their hair or not look like a robot?! I figured, I could do better than that! Not only that, but we didn’t have a ton of extra money to hire a professional photographer. So for birthdays and holidays, I would take family pictures and give them out as framed gifts. So, what started as a hobby, because I wasn’t willing to pay for one really bad photo, grew from there.
I’m lucky to have family and friends that believe in me, because without them, I wouldn’t be taking this leap and expanding on what I love to do.
